School Speech Language Pathologist - Pinson, Alabama

Specific caseloads and locations will be assigned based on current needs.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Professional Educator Certification.
• Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communicative Disorders from a regionally accredited institution.
• Familiarity with state and federal laws affecting special education and regulated student programs.
• Strong knowledge of pediatric and adolescent development, and ability to use diagnostic tools for evaluating students needs.
• Ability to interpret policies and regulations, compile/ analyze data, and provide clear documentation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Outstanding oral and written communication skills.
• Preferred: ASHA Certification and ABSESPA Licensure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech-language services directly to students on campusremote/Voco services are not permitted for this position.
• Evaluate, assess, and track student progress using up-to-date tools and strategies.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on the latest research and student-specific needs.
• Collaborate with faculty, staff, and families to support comprehensive educational plans.
• Prepare thorough documentation and reports for compliance with applicable laws and school policies.
