Key Qualifications:

• Valid ASHA certification (CCC) required
• Alabama Educator SLP Certificate required (position may begin pending full certification; verify via state portal)
• Experience delivering speech-language therapy and conducting evaluations in a school setting
• Strong knowledge of best practices for managing a caseload of up to 60 students
• Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills
• Ability to work onsite in a K-12 school environment during standard school hours
• No SLPAs will be considered for this role

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct therapy services to students according to their individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations and assessments
• Develop and implement engaging, evidence-based intervention plans
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation of student progress and all required reports
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student growth and achievement
• Participate in meetings, parent conferences, and IEP team discussions as needed
• Manage a diverse caseload, ensuring every student receives the appropriate level of service and support
