Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) for a full-time position with partner school districts in the Roselle, IL area. This role is a great opportunity to support students in achieving their speech and language goals within a collaborative school environment.

Required Qualifications
Applicants must meet the following Illinois state and local requirements:

  • Hold a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders from an accredited program

  • Possess an active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a Speech-Language Pathologist (Teaching) endorsement

  • Hold a valid and current Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR) SLP license

  • Have verified experience as a Speech Language Pathologist, preferably in a school-based or pediatric setting

  • Fulfill all local district onboarding requirements, which may include:

  • FBI and Illinois State Police fingerprint background checks

  • TB test or health clearance as required

  • Completion of compliance and district-specific training

Please note: Candidates who do not meet all listed qualifications will not be considered for this position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct evaluations and assessments of speech, language, and communication needs

  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students

  • Deliver direct and indirect therapy services

  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and interdisciplinary teams

  • Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of student progress

  • Ensure compliance with IDEA, state regulations, and district policies
