Location: North St. Paul, MN
Start Date: August 2025
End Date: June 2026 (aligned with school district calendar)
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday through Friday
Setting: On-site/In-Person Required

Position Overview

BlazerJobs is currently seeking a qualified and compassionate School Psychologist to serve students in North St. Paul, Minnesota for the 2025–2026 academic year. This full-time, on-site position spans preschool through high school and offers an opportunity to support student success through assessment, consultation, and intervention services within a collaborative educational setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in identifying students with disabilities (ages 3–21) and help plan and implement appropriate evaluations and reevaluations.

• Administer cognitive, psychosocial, adaptive behavior, and other psychological assessments to determine eligibility for Special Education.

• Prepare and present clear, comprehensive written and oral evaluation reports for school staff and parents.

• Design and implement behavioral and ecological observation systems to guide student support and interventions.

• Coordinate with school teams, families, and outside agencies to ensure integrated services for students.

• Participate actively in evaluation teams, IEP meetings, and pupil needs committees.

• Provide consultation to educators and families on student learning, behavior, and instructional strategies.

• Develop and suggest pre-referral intervention strategies to support students in the general education environment.

• Deliver direct psychological support services to individuals or groups of students as specified in IEPs.

• Contribute to staff development by participating in in-service training focused on assessment, planning, and student needs.

• Assist in district-wide initiatives or special projects requiring psychological expertise.

• Perform additional related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Master’s, Specialist, or Doctoral degree in School Psychology

• Valid Minnesota license as a School Psychologist (or eligibility to obtain one)

• Knowledge of IDEA, Section 504, and due process requirements

• Strong skills in assessment, data interpretation, consultation, and intervention planning

• Previous school-based experience preferred

• Must be able to pass background/fingerprint clearance

• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
