Job Description:
BlazerJobs is currently seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time position at a school in Seaford, DE for the 2025-2026 school year. This role will be working with a high-needs caseload of K-12 students, requiring the delivery of comprehensive speech and language services in a school setting. Experience with AAC devices is a plus for candidates with that skill set.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to evaluate students' speech and language needs.

  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with the IEP team.

  • Provide direct therapy services to students in both individual and small group settings.

  • Address a wide range of speech and language disorders, including articulation, fluency, voice, and language disorders.

  • Support students with communication needs, including those using AAC devices (Experience preferred, but not required).

  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to monitor student progress and ensure academic success.

  • Maintain records, progress reports, and other required documentation for IEPs and therapy services.

Requirements:

  • DE State Speech-Language Pathologist license required.

  • Experience with high-needs students and AAC devices is highly preferred.

  • Strong collaboration skills to work with other educational staff and families.

  • Ability to implement IEPs and manage student caseloads effectively.

  • Prior school-based experience is a plus.
