Are you a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) looking for a rewarding contract opportunity? We are seeking a full-time SLP to join a supportive school district in Cambridge, MD (21613), for the upcoming school year. Location: Cambridge, MD (21613) Discipline: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Schedule: Full-Time, 37.5 Hours Per Week Caseload: Elementary and Middle School students Flexibility: Will accept virtual or hybrid candidates! Commitment: School is only accepting candidates that can work the full 37.5 hours per week.

About the Role & District:

As a school-based SLP, you will play a vital role in assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication disorders in elementary and middle school students. You'll have the opportunity to work with a diverse student population and collaborate closely with teachers, special education staff, and parents to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs). This district is known for its supportive environment, fostering professional growth and collaboration among its staff. You'll have the resources and team backing to thrive in your role and truly impact student success.

Key Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):

  • Conducting comprehensive speech and language evaluations.
  • Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans (IEPs) for students.
  • Providing direct and indirect speech-language therapy services.
  • Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other school professionals.
  • Monitoring student progress and adjusting therapy plans as needed.
  • Maintaining accurate and confidential student records.
  • Participating in IEP meetings and other school-based team discussions.

Compensation:

This is a contract position with an average hourly rate of $45-$55 based on experience.

Special Requirements:

  • Active educator license is required.
  • Must be able to commit to the full 37.5 hours per week.
