Location: Kent, WA Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
Job Duties:
As a School-Based Speech Language Pathologist, you will be an integral part of our team, responsible for:
- Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify speech, language, and communication disorders in students.
- Developing and implementing individualized education programs (IEPs) that address student needs and align with educational goals.
- Providing direct and indirect speech and language therapy services to students in individual and group settings.
- Collaborating effectively with teachers, parents, administrators, and other school personnel to support student progress and promote a positive learning environment.
- Monitoring and documenting student progress, adjusting therapy plans as needed.
- Participating in IEP meetings and contributing to the overall educational success of students.
- Maintaining accurate and confidential student records.
Qualifications:
- Active Washington (WA) State Speech Language Pathologist license is required.
- ESA (Educational Staff Associate) certification in Washington is required.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience working in a school-based setting is preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Compensation:
This is a contract position with an average hourly rate of $55-$68 based on experience.
