Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) – Full-Time | Siloam Springs, AR

Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) for a full-time position with school districts in the Siloam Springs, Arkansas area. We are looking for dedicated professionals who are passionate about helping students develop effective communication skills and meet their educational goals.

Position Details:

• Full-time, school-based position

• Location: Siloam Springs, AR

• Immediate start available

• Renewal opportunities for the following school year based on performance

Requirements:
Applicants must meet all local and state qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Disorders

• Active Arkansas SLP license issued by the Arkansas Board of Examiners in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology

• Arkansas Department of Education certification for school-based SLPs

• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred but not required

• Successful completion of background check and fingerprinting as required by the district

• Prior school-based experience is preferred but not required

Typical Responsibilities:

• Provide speech and language therapy services to students according to their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)

• Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine eligibility and therapy needs

• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to support student goals

• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other staff members to ensure student success

• Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and student progress

• Participate in IEP meetings and assist in the development of speech and language goals
