Full-Time Occupational Therapist (OT) Position - New School Year - Alaska

Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Occupational Therapists for full-time positions with school districts in the Soldotna, Alaska area for the upcoming 2025 school year. Details: 

• Location: Soldotna, AK
• Full Time: 40 hours per week
• Caseload: The district likes to discuss more details at the time of interview to see the best fit based on need and experience.

Applicants must meet all state and local requirements:

• Master’s Degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Current and active Occupational Therapist license issued by the Alaska Board of Occupational Therapy
• Certification by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT)
• Ability to pass a background check and school district clearance requirements
• Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred

Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations and assessments of students' fine motor, sensory, and functional skills
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals related to occupational therapy
• Provide direct and consultative therapy services to students in various educational settings
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student success
• Maintain accurate records, data, and progress reports in compliance with district and state guidelines
• Participate in IEP meetings and team conferences as needed
