Qualifications:

  • Active ASHA Certificate, SLP-CCC
  • New Jersey Department of Education (NJDOE) Certification
  • Experience in school-based speech-language services
  • Familiarity with low-tech AAC devices is a plus
  • Must provide services in-person (no virtual/VOCO placements)

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech-language therapy to PreK12th grade students
  • Manage a caseload of ~40 students, including some nonverbal individuals
  • Implement and document therapy using evidence-based practices
  • Collaborate with educators and caregivers to support student success
  • Begin early to shadow outgoing SLP for seamless caseload handoff
