Blazer Jobs is currently interviewing experienced Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) for full-time positions with trusted school districts in the Houston, Texas area. Qualifications and Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must meet the following local and state requirements:

• Hold a valid Texas Speech-Language Pathology license issued by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR)

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution

• Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred (CFYs may also be considered)

• Must pass background checks and fingerprinting as required by the Texas Education Agency (TEA)

• Prior school-based or pediatric experience is strongly preferred

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students

• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans in alignment with each student’s IEP

• Provide direct therapy services to students with communication disorders

• Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to facilitate student progress

• Document student performance and maintain accurate records in compliance with district and state guidelines

• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions
