School Speech Language Pathologist - Torrance, CA

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist, serving students in the greater LA area. In this role, youll support children across multiple campusesnever more than an hour or 20 miles from your home basemaking a real difference in local school communities. The assignment runs full-time through June 2027, with daily hours from 7:30am to 4:00pm, Monday through Friday. Youll enjoy a variety of experiences, typically serving 1-4 schools (average of 2) and a caseload of 5560. Each campus has a designated case manager, so you can focus purely on assessments, intervention, and student progress.

What youll need:

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Active California SLP License
• Valid CTC document (preliminary or clear Speech-Language Pathology credential or Certificate of Clearance)
• Either CCC or CF (as long as an SLP supervisor is arranged; no SLPA applicants at this time)
• Experience or strong interest in supporting K-12 students
• Adaptability for itinerant work and traveling to different campuses within the LA area

Your responsibilities:

• Deliver speech and language services to a well-defined caseload of K-12 students
• Collaborate and consult with teachers, parents, and other team members for student success
• Complete required assessments (with reimbursement for materials up to $2500)
• Attend campus-based meetings as needed and keep records in compliance with district and state standards
