Qualifications & Experience:

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
• Valid ABESPA Alabama SLP Certificate or AL SLP DOE Certificate (active or in processone certification is sufficient to start)
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
• Previous experience providing SLP services in a school setting preferred
• Familiarity with therapy for upper elementary students (grades 36)
• Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to develop and implement IEP goals tailored to student needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech-language therapy to students onsite in alignment with IEP goals
• Screen, assess, and document student progress
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student success
• Maintain timely and thorough documentation according to school/district policies
• Participate in team meetings, IEP conferences, and professional development as required
• Support a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere
