Job Overview – What You’ll Do:

• Provide speech and language therapy services to students in a school-based setting

• Assess, diagnose, and treat communication disorders

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)

• Deliver therapy sessions and monitor student progress toward IEP goals

• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to support student success

• Maintain documentation, participate in IEP meetings, and contribute to team-based planning

Qualifications & Certifications (Virginia Requirements):

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders

• Active Virginia SLP license issued by the Virginia Board of Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology

• Must hold or be eligible for a Virginia Department of Education license with an endorsement in Speech-Language Pathology

• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred

• Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates are encouraged to apply
