Job Overview – What You’ll Do:
Provide speech and language therapy services to students in a school-based setting
Assess, diagnose, and treat communication disorders
Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
Deliver therapy sessions and monitor student progress toward IEP goals
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to support student success
Maintain documentation, participate in IEP meetings, and contribute to team-based planning
Qualifications & Certifications (Virginia Requirements):
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
Active Virginia SLP license issued by the Virginia Board of Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology
Must hold or be eligible for a Virginia Department of Education license with an endorsement in Speech-Language Pathology
ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates are encouraged to apply
