School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Waterbury, Connecticut

An exciting opportunity awaits for skilled Speech-Language Pathologists to provide essential services to elementary students in a supportive school environment near Waterbury, CT. This is a contract-based position, beginning as soon as possible and extending through June 11, 2027. Multiple openings are available for dedicated professionals ready to inspire and support young learners.

Ideal candidates bring solid school-based experience and a commitment to making a difference in students lives. Assignments are full-time (35 hours/week), onsite, and may require working across two school sites to support a diverse elementary caseload. Flexibility and adaptability are highly valued.

Qualifications:

• Active Connecticut Speech-Language Pathology license
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) strongly preferred; Clinical Fellows considered if district supervision is available
• Proven school-based SLP experience
• Comfortable with full-time onsite schedule
• Ability to provide services at more than one location per assignment needs
• Must complete district fingerprinting and background check requirements
• SLPAs will not be considered for this opening

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality speech and language therapy to elementary students in accordance with IEPs
• Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and track student progress
• Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to maximize student success
• Work efficiently within district systems and maintain timely documentation
• Engage in team meetings as needed and contribute to a positive school community
