School-based Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) – Full-Time | West Chicago, IL

Full-Time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) – Pontiac, MI

Blazer Jobs is currently interviewing experienced and qualified Speech Language Pathologists for a full-time, school-based contract position in Pontiac, MI for the 2025–2026 academic year. This opportunity is open to both CCC-SLPs and Clinical Fellows (CFs) who meet all local and state certification requirements.

Position Overview:

• Location: Pontiac, MI

• Schedule: Full-Time, On-site

• Contract Dates: August 22, 2025 – June 12, 2026

• Type: School-based contract

• Open to: CCC-SLP and CF candidates

Minimum Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology

• Valid Michigan SLP license

• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, but Clinical Fellowship candidates are welcome to apply

• Must meet all state and district qualifications for school-based practice

• Experience working with special education students and families is highly preferred

Typical Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech and language evaluations for referred students

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in coordination with the IEP team

• Provide direct therapy services to students based on IEP goals

• Document progress and maintain accurate, compliant records

• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to support student success

• Participate in team meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning

• Offer support and resources for classroom-based interventions
