Speech Language Pathologist Assistant for Caroll County School Systems

Blazer Jobs is currently conducting interviews for experienced and qualified Speech Language Pathologists, for full-time positions with school districts in the Westminster, MD area. This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive educational environment dedicated to student success.

Location: Westminster, MD
Schedule: Full-Time
Contract Term: Current school year, with potential for renewal based on performance

Minimum Qualifications:

To be considered, applicants must meet all state and local certification/licensure requirements, which may include:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (depending on discipline) from an accredited institution

• Valid Maryland licensure or certification for your discipline (e.g., State Teaching License, SLP License, School Psychologist Certification)

• Completion of required internships or clinical hours

• Background check and fingerprint clearance per Maryland requirements

• Previous school-based experience preferred but not required

 Typical Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct services and support aligned with student IEPs or educational goals

• Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to address students’ academic, emotional, or developmental needs

• Conduct evaluations and assessments as required

• Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with state and district policies

• Participate in IEP meetings, student progress monitoring, and interdisciplinary team planning
