Speech Language Pathologist in Whittier, CA

Step into a rewarding full-time, onsite role supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the LA area. This contract position runs ASAP through June 4, 2027, offering the chance to work across 14 school sites (typically two), with a hard cap ensuring no commute exceeds 20 miles or one hour. You'll serve caseloads of approximately 5560 students, working regular school hours from 7:30 am4:00 pm, Monday through Friday.

Applicants should hold either the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or be Clinical Fellows (CF), provided appropriate supervision is arranged. This is an itinerant assignment, offering valuable variety and engagement with diverse age groups.

Qualifications and Desired Experience

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology is required.
• Active, posted California SLP license.
• Valid CTC (preliminary or clear SLP credential, or Certificate of Clearance).
• Previous experience in school-based settings is highly desired.
• Open to both CCC-SLPs and CF-SLPs (with confirmed supervision).
• SLPA candidates will not be considered.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver diagnostic and therapeutic speech-language pathology services to students within assigned schools.
• Develop and implement intervention plans in accordance with IEP goals.
• Collaborate with case managers, faculty, and family members to enhance student progress.
• Complete evaluations and contribute to team meetings as required.
• Manage assessment materialsreimbursements for these resources will be provided.
