Make a meaningful impact supporting young learners as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a thriving educational environment. This dynamic, onsite contract position offers the opportunity to work closely with PreK and Kindergarten students, providing essential speech and language services during the upcoming academic year. Key Qualifications and Preferred Experience:

  • Valid SLP license required; candidates willing to pursue California licensure are encouraged to apply
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) strongly preferred
  • Previous school-based experience, especially with early childhood populations, is highly desirable
  • Collaborative spirit with effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Commitment to evidence-based practices and professional growth
  • Ability to adapt therapeutic approaches to meet the needs of diverse learners

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of speech, language, and communication disorders for PreK and Kindergarten students
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in partnership with multidisciplinary teams
  • Maintain thorough documentation and monitor student progress toward therapy goals
  • Consult and collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to maximize student success
  • Attend IEP meetings and professional development opportunities as required

This is an onsite role for the academic year, with a consistent weekly schedule and a manageable caseload of approximately 25-35 young learners. Be a driving force in helping children discover their voice and develop lifelong communication skills.
