Full-Time Speech Language Pathologist – Boston, MA

Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Speech Language Pathologists for a full-time role with school districts in the Boston, MA area. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a supportive and dynamic environment, making a difference in students' lives.

Minimum Qualifications – Massachusetts State Requirements:

To be considered for this role, applicants must meet the following qualifications:

  • Hold a Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology

  • Possess an active Massachusetts state license as a Speech Language Pathologist

  • Applicants must have experience working as a Speech Language Pathologist in a school setting

  • Applicants must meet all local and state compliance requirements including:

  • Completion of background checks and fingerprinting

  • Valid authorization to work in the United States

  • Adherence to Massachusetts’s requirements for school professionals

Applicants who do not meet the outlined qualifications will not be considered.

Typical Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate students for speech and language disorders

  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to improve students' communication skills

  • Provide speech and language therapy in accordance with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)

  • Work closely with teachers, parents, and other school staff to monitor and support students' progress

  • Document and track student progress and make necessary adjustments to therapy plans

  • Provide speech therapy to students with articulation, language, and fluency disorders

  • Conduct assessments and screenings for speech and language delays

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to address the needs of students with disabilities
