Blazer Jobs is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to fill a full-time, school-based contract position in West Chicago, Illinois. This position is focused on supporting students with IEPs through direct speech-language services and collaboration with school staff to promote student success.
Typical Job Duties Include:
Conduct speech and language assessments and analyze results to develop appropriate goals
Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) based on student needs
Provide direct therapy services in individual and group formats
Collaborate with teachers, families, and school-based teams to monitor progress and adjust services
Maintain accurate documentation and records in compliance with school and state regulations
Attend IEP meetings and provide professional input and clinical recommendations
Qualifications:
Applicants must meet all of the following requirements to be considered:
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
Active Illinois Speech-Language Pathology License through the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR)
Professional Educator License (PEL) with a Speech-Language Pathology endorsement
Successful completion of all background checks and fingerprint clearance as required by the school district
Applicants who do not meet the required education, licensure, or certification standards will not be considered.
