Open SLP (Speech Language Pathologist) Position in West Chicago

Blazer Jobs is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to fill a full-time, school-based contract position in West Chicago, Illinois. This position is focused on supporting students with IEPs through direct speech-language services and collaboration with school staff to promote student success.

Typical Job Duties Include:

• Conduct speech and language assessments and analyze results to develop appropriate goals

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) based on student needs

• Provide direct therapy services in individual and group formats

• Collaborate with teachers, families, and school-based teams to monitor progress and adjust services

• Maintain accurate documentation and records in compliance with school and state regulations

• Attend IEP meetings and provide professional input and clinical recommendations

Qualifications:

Applicants must meet all of the following requirements to be considered:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders

• Active Illinois Speech-Language Pathology License through the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR)

• Professional Educator License (PEL) with a Speech-Language Pathology endorsement

• Successful completion of all background checks and fingerprint clearance as required by the school district
