Requirements:
Applicants must meet all state and local requirements to be eligible for this role, including:
Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
Active Arizona Department of Health Services (ADHS) SLP license
Arizona Department of Education (ADE) Speech-Language Pathologist certificate
Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred but not required
Previous school-based experience preferred
Typical Responsibilities:
Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to students in accordance with their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students' needs and service eligibility
Develop individualized therapy plans and monitor progress toward IEP goals
Collaborate with educators, parents, and other service providers to support student learning
Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with district and state requirements
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional insight to student goal development
