Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) – Full-Time | Lancaster, SC

Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) for a full-time position with school districts in the Lancaster, South Carolina area. We are seeking dedicated professionals to provide speech and language services in a school setting, ensuring students receive the support they need to achieve their academic and communication goals.

Position Details:

• Full-time, school-based position

• Location: Lancaster, SC

• Immediate start date available

• Renewal opportunities for the following school year based on performance

Requirements:
Applicants must meet all local and state qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders

• Active South Carolina SLP license issued by the South Carolina Department of Labor, Licensing and Regulation (LLR)

• South Carolina Department of Education certification for school-based SLPs

• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred but not required

• Successful completion of a background check and fingerprinting as required by the school district

• Previous experience working with students in a school-based setting is preferred

Typical Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech and language therapy to students according to their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)

• Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine eligibility and therapy needs

• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on student assessments

• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff to ensure student success

• Maintain documentation and progress reports in accordance with district and state requirements

• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of speech and language goals
