Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) for a full-time position with school districts in the Lancaster, South Carolina area. We are seeking dedicated professionals to provide speech and language services in a school setting, ensuring students receive the support they need to achieve their academic and communication goals.

Requirements:
Applicants must meet all local and state qualifications:
Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
Active South Carolina SLP license issued by the South Carolina Department of Labor, Licensing and Regulation (LLR)
South Carolina Department of Education certification for school-based SLPs
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred but not required
Successful completion of a background check and fingerprinting as required by the school district
Previous experience working with students in a school-based setting is preferred
Typical Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech and language therapy to students according to their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine eligibility and therapy needs
Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on student assessments
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff to ensure student success
Maintain documentation and progress reports in accordance with district and state requirements
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of speech and language goals
