Join Our Team: School Speech-Language Pathologist

Are you a dedicated and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) seeking a fulfilling role within an educational setting? We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated SLP to join our school community and make a positive impact on student communication development.

Your Role:

As a School SLP with us, you will be instrumental in supporting students with diverse communication needs. Your expertise will be utilized to assess, diagnose, and provide targeted interventions for a range of speech, language, and swallowing challenges. Collaboration with educators, families, and support staff will be key to fostering student success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough evaluations to understand students' unique communication profiles, addressing areas such as articulation, language comprehension and expression, fluency, voice, and social communication.
  • Develop and implement tailored intervention plans (IEPs) with clear, measurable objectives to facilitate student progress.
  • Deliver direct therapy services to students, utilizing both individual and group formats.
  • Work closely with classroom teachers to integrate communication strategies into daily instruction and classroom activities.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of student progress and services provided.
  • Participate actively in IEP meetings and contribute to collaborative problem-solving within the school team.
  • Remain informed about current research and evidence-based practices in speech-language pathology.

What You Bring:

  • A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders from an accredited institution.
  • Possession of or eligibility for state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA or active candidacy.
  • Experience working with children in a school setting is highly valued.
  • Strong clinical competencies in evaluating and treating various communication disorders.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaborative abilities.
  • The capacity to work effectively both independently and as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
