State Requirements for Speech-Language Pathologists in Michigan:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.

• Michigan SLP License issued by the Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs.

• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred.

• Previous school-based experience is preferred.

Blazer Jobs is hiring a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support elementary students in Westland, MI. This role focuses on helping young learners improve their speech and language skills to support academic growth.

Experience and Requirements:

• Conduct speech and language screenings and evaluations.

• Develop and implement therapy plans tailored to each student's needs.

• Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and school staff.

• Provide therapy in both individual and small group settings.

• Document student progress and adjust treatment as necessary.

• Participate in IEP meetings and assist in goal setting.
