New School Year - Full-Time Speech Language Pathologist - Michigan

Blazer Jobs is currently partnering with school districts in the Hamtramck, Michigan area to interview experienced and qualified Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) for full-time opportunities in the upcoming school year. Details: 

• Location: Hamtramck, MI
• Full Time: 40 hours per week
• Caseload: K-12, age group to be determined. The district likes to discuss more details at the time of interview to see the best fit based on experience.

Requirements – Applicants Must Meet All Local and State Criteria:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Active Michigan Speech-Language Pathology License issued by the Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs (LARA).
• Valid Michigan Department of Education (MDE) approval or certification (if required for school-based roles).
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred.
• Successful completion of background check and fingerprinting.
• Prior experience in a school setting is a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Provide remote speech and language therapy to students in K–12 settings
• Conduct virtual assessments and evaluations using teletherapy platforms
• Develop and manage IEPs in collaboration with school teams
• Maintain detailed and timely documentation in compliance with state and district policies
• Regularly consult with educators, parents, and support staff
• Adapt instructional strategies to meet individual student needs in a virtual environment
