Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) for a full-time role within school districts in the Burbank, IL area. We are seeking compassionate, licensed professionals who are dedicated to helping students improve their communication skills and reach their full academic potential.
All applicants must meet local and state licensure requirements in Illinois, including:
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders from an accredited institution
Active Illinois Speech-Language Pathology License, issued by the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR)
Valid Professional Educator License (PEL) with a Speech-Language Pathologist (Non-Teaching) endorsement issued by the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE)
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred; Clinical Fellows (CFs) may be considered
Successful completion of background check, fingerprinting, and all district onboarding requirements
Previous experience in a school-based setting is preferred
Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders
Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to student goals and needs
Provide therapy services in individual and group settings within the school environment
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student outcomes
Document student progress and maintain compliance with school and state reporting guidelines
Participate in IEP meetings, team consultations, and ongoing professional development
