School Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) | Cambridge, Massachusetts

What you'll need:

• Current, active Massachusetts SLPA license
• Previous experience in a school-based setting, ideally serving elementary and/or middle school age groups
• Strong communication skills and an ability to engage diverse student populations
• Commitment to working the full school year calendar (start ASAP, ending June 18, 2027)
• Flexibility to travel between three schools within the district

Day-to-day responsibilities:

• Provide direct therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist, implementing IEPs and therapy plans
• Assist with screenings, assessments, data collection, and progress monitoring
• Collaborate with teaching teams, special education staff, and families to help students meet communication goals
• Support classroom-based interventions and reinforce carryover of skills in educational settings
• Maintain accurate documentation and recordkeeping in compliance with all district and state requirements
