Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to join our school-based team in New Orleans, LA for the 2025–2026 academic year. This position will support students in grades K–12 by providing direct therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP). The ideal candidate is passionate about helping students improve their communication skills and thrives in a collaborative school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy services as directed by the supervising SLP
- Follow documented treatment plans and goals outlined in students' IEPs
- Collect and record data on student performance and progress
- Assist in preparing therapy materials and documentation
- Support classroom integration and communication skill development
- Maintain professional communication with students, staff, and families
Qualifications:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Current Louisiana licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant
- Previous experience working in a school setting is preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to follow direction, work independently, and contribute to a team-based approach
Contract Details:
- Full-time or part-time opportunities available

- Hourly pay: $44–$49 based on experience
