Job description:
The Bilingual SLPA will assist a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist in delivering therapy services to students in both English and Spanish. Responsibilities include implementing treatment plans, collecting progress data, supporting therapy sessions, and preparing materials—all within a collaborative, school-based environment.

Texas qualifications and requirements:

  • Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field

  • Active SLPA license from the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR)

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish

  • Completion of supervised clinical training

  • Must pass a fingerprint background check compliant with TEA

  • Prior classroom or school experience not required
