What Were Looking For:

• Bachelors degree or higher in Communications or Speech-Language
• Experience supporting children/students in educational settings preferred
• In-depth understanding of speech, language, and communication disorders
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Must meet state requirements: SLPA licensure not required in Virginia
• Ability to collaborate with supervising Speech-Language Pathologists and multidisciplinary school teams

What Youll Do:

• Work closely with licensed SLPs to implement therapy plans for students
• Assist in developing and modifying materials and activities for speech therapy
• Document student progress and maintain accurate records under SLP supervision
• Support students social and academic functioning by addressing speech and language needs
• Communicate with teachers, parents, and related staff to coordinate services
