Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) in Hope Mills, NC

Qualifications & Experience:

• Active North Carolina SLPA license is required.
• Previous experience with school-aged populations at the elementary, middle, or high school level is preferred.
• Solid understanding of speech and language development in children and adolescents.
• Strong collaboration skills; able to partner with supervising SLPs, teachers, and families.
• Flexibility and adaptability for working in diverse and changing school environments.
• Commitment to onsite presence throughout the contract period.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech and language intervention under the supervision of a licensed SLP.
• Support IEP implementation for students at multiple school locations.
• Assist with progress monitoring, documentation, and data collection.
• Communicate regularly and effectively with supervising SLPs, teachers, students, and families.
• Participate actively in school team meetings and professional development activities.
