Blazer Jobs is seeking a dedicated and professional Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) in Houston, TX for the 2025/2026 school year.
Requirements:
- Valid SLPA License.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with district SLPs, teachers, and other staff members.
- Experience working with children in a school setting is preferred.
- Provide speech and language services to students under the supervision of district SLPs.
- Assist with data collection, documentation, and progress tracking for students receiving speech services.
- Support the implementation of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and therapy goals for students.
- Travel between multiple buildings to provide services as needed.
- Foster a supportive and productive learning environment for students with speech and language needs.
- Full-time
- Supervision: Direct supervision by two district SLPs.
- Pay based on experience and location
