Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) in Kansas City, KS

Key Qualifications:

• Current SLPA licensure and eligibility to practice in a school setting
• Experience working with K-12 students preferred
• Ability to travel between up to three schools within the district per week
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Organized, self-motivated, and flexible in adapting to varying school needs
• Familiarity with data collection and supporting clinical documentation

Primary Responsibilities:

• Work under the guidance of a licensed SLP to provide high-quality communication therapy
• Support the implementation of treatment and intervention plans
• Collect, record, and report data to monitor student progress
• Collaborate with SLPs and multidisciplinary teams to help students reach their goals
• Communicate updates to SLPs, teachers, and families as appropriate
• Manage time and schedule independently to maximize student support across assigned campuses
