Hiring: Full-Time Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA)

Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Speech-Language Pathologist Assistants (SLPA) for a full-time position with partner school districts in the Kent, WA area. This school-based opportunity is ideal for individuals passionate about helping students strengthen their communication skills and succeed in the classroom.

Position Requirements:
Applicants must meet all Washington state and local requirements, including:

• Active Washington SLPA credential issued by the Washington State Department of Health

• Associate’s or Bachelor's degree from an accredited Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant program

• Must be supervised by a licensed SLP per state guidelines

• Ability to pass a background check and fingerprinting through Washington State Patrol and OSPI

• Authorization to work in the United States

• Previous school-based experience preferred but not required

Typical Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech and language services to students under the supervision of a licensed SLP

• Support the implementation of IEP goals and treatment plans

• Provide individual or small group therapy in educational settings

• Maintain accurate documentation of services and student progress

• Assist with screenings, data collection, and preparation of materials

• Participate in team meetings and collaborate with staff and families
