Key Qualifications:

• Current, active Florida SLPA license required
• Previous experience in a school setting strongly preferred
• Must be able to travel to multiple schools within Hendry County
• Knowledge of school-based speech-language interventions for K12 populations

• Ability to work collaboratively with other professionals, teachers, and families

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students in accordance with their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Serve as an important support for the Speech-Language Pathologist, assisting with assessments, documentation, and implementing intervention plans
• Travel between various schools in the district as assigned, ensuring coverage and compliance
• Maintain thorough and timely records, collect and document student progress, and participate in team meetings as needed
• Engage with teachers, families, and other service providers to promote positive outcomes for students
