Speech Language Pathologist Assistant - Lawrence, MA

Make a difference supporting elementary and middle school students as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant in a dynamic school environment near Lawrence, MA. This contract opportunity offers a chance to work across three welcoming school sites, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to help students achieve communication goals. The position begins as soon as possible and extends through mid-June 2027, providing consistency and the ability to build meaningful relationships with students and staff.

Key Qualifications:

• Holds an active Massachusetts SLPA license
• Experience in K-8 schools highly preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Confident supporting individualized communication plans

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech-language interventions under the supervision of a licensed SLP
• Support IEP goals by implementing targeted activities with individual students and small groups
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to promote communication development
• Document session notes, progress, and data for ongoing assessment
• Assist with speech-language screenings and program planning as needed
• Maintain compliance with state and district guidelines
