Full-Time Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA)

Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Speech-Language Pathologist Assistants (SLPA) for a full-time position with partner school districts in the Lexington, VA area. This is a great opportunity for professionals passionate about supporting student communication development in a collaborative school-based environment.

Position Requirements:
Applicants must meet all Virginia state and local requirements, including:

• Active Virginia SLPA license issued by the Virginia Board of Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited SLPA program

• Must be supervised by a licensed SLP in accordance with state regulations

• Background check and fingerprint clearance through the Virginia Department of Education

• Authorization to work in the U.S.

• Previous school-based experience preferred

Typical Responsibilities:

• Provide direct therapy services under the supervision of a licensed SLP

• Support the implementation of IEP goals and individualized treatment plans

• Conduct therapy sessions in individual and group settings

• Assist with documentation, data collection, and preparation of therapy materials

• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress

• Participate in team meetings as appropriate
