Speech Language Pathologist Assistant in North Richland Hills, TX

Step into a dynamic school-based setting where youll make a genuine impact as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) supporting elementary students. This full-time, on-site contract role runs from ASAP through 5/21/27, providing a unique opportunity to enrich the educational journey of young learners. Youll be working with a caseload of 70-80 elementary students, focusing on direct services primarily delivered in group settings, always under the guidance of a supervising licensed Speech-Language Pathologist.

Desired Qualifications:

• Current Texas SLPA license issued by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR)
• Experience in school settings as an SLPA is preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with supervising SLP, fellow team members, and educators
• Passion for helping children reach their communicative potential

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech-language services to elementary school students, primarily within group sessions
• Support students speech, language, and communication goals as outlined by the supervising SLP
• Maintain accurate and timely records of student progress and interventions
• Collaborate with supervising SLP, classroom teachers, and staff for delivery of comprehensive care
• Participate in team meetings, trainings, and professional development as required by assignment
