School Speech Language Pathologist Assistant - Quincy, Massachusetts

Working a flexible 34-hour week, youll collaborate with an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) and contribute meaningfully to student development for the duration of the school year and through June 2027. This contract role is ideal for an enthusiastic and motivated SLPA passionate about fostering student communication and language skills.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Holds an active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant license in Massachusetts
• Experience or practicum background in a school-based setting
• Comfortable balancing assignments in three different schools
• Skilled in providing services to elementary and middle school-aged children
• Strong professional collaboration, communication, and organizational abilities
• Adaptable, self-motivated, and able to engage with a diverse student population

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement speech and language activities under the direction of the supervising SLP
• Work one-on-one and in small groups to support student communication goals
• Assist in tracking student progress, preparing therapy materials, and maintaining documentation
• Participate in team meetings, contributing observations to student support plans
• Communicate effectively with teachers and staff to foster a supportive learning environment across multiple campuses
