School Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) | Salem, New Hampshire

Key Qualifications:

• Active New Hampshire SLPA licensure is required
• Previous experience in school-based settings
• Confidence working with both elementary (2nd-5th grade) and preschool students
• Familiarity with ABA self-contained programs is a plus
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with students and staff
• District fingerprint clearance or willingness to obtain
• Comfortable participating in Zoom interviews

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech and language therapy under supervision to students in 2nd through 5th grade, as well as preschool students when needed
• Provide services onsite three days per week (Monday-Friday), averaging 21 hours weekly
• Support communication goals within ABA self-contained classrooms
• Maintain accurate therapy documentation and student progress reports
• Communicate effectively with teachers, parents, and support staff to ensure comprehensive care
• Collaborate with the supervising SLP to tailor approaches for individual student needs
