Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) in Somerton, AZ

A rewarding contract opportunity awaits Speech-Language Pathology Assistants passionate about supporting students communication growth. This full-time position, based onsite near Somerton, AZ, involves working throughout the 20262027 school year (September 14, 2026, to May 26, 2027) and offers a 37.5-hour work week. You'll work with students in PreK through 8th grade, providing invaluable support as part of a caring educational community. The specific caseload will be determined upon placement.

Key Qualifications:

• Active Arizona SLPA license is required at time of application.
• Must currently hold a valid IVP Fingerprint Card.
• Experience working with school-aged children, especially between PreK and 8th grade, is highly desirable.
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills are essential.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assist with implementation of speech and language therapy plans designed by supervising Speech-Language Pathologists.
• Conduct therapy sessions and activities tailored to individual or small group student needs.
• Gather documentation and maintain records as directed.
• Support teachers and staff in understanding and following speech-language recommendations.
• Participate in meetings, trainings, and consultations as required by the school team.
