Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Speech Language Pathologist Assistants (SLPAs) for a full-time role within school districts in the Yuma, AZ area. Responsibilities:

• Assist licensed Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) in providing speech and language therapy services to students.

• Implement therapy plans, monitor student progress, and adjust treatment goals under the supervision of an SLP.

• Conduct screenings to assess speech and language abilities and assist with the evaluation process.

• Provide individual and group therapy services based on prescribed treatment plans.

• Document therapy sessions, student progress, and other related activities in a timely and accurate manner.

• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to monitor and support student development.

• Prepare and organize materials for therapy sessions.

• Assist with administrative tasks and maintain compliance with district and state regulations.

Qualifications:

• Completion of an accredited Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) program.

• Valid licensure or certification as a Speech Language Pathology Assistant in Arizona (or eligibility to obtain).

• Previous experience working with children, particularly in a school setting, is preferred.

• Knowledge of speech and language disorders, therapy techniques, and special education support.

• Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills.

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team with educators, parents, and other professionals.
