Blazerworks is actively looking for a compassionate and motivated School Social Worker to serve a school district near Moriarty for the 2025–2026 school year. This full-time position spans K–12, providing vital support to students’ social and emotional well-being. The contract may start short-term, but performance will drive renewal for a longer-term role. Dates: 2025-2026 School Year
Caseload: Elementary-High School Students.
Job Details:
  • Counseling: Provide individual and group counseling to help students with emotional, social, and behavioral issues.
  • Crisis Intervention: Assist students during crises, such as family issues, trauma, or mental health emergencies.
  • Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' overall development and progress.
  • Monitoring and documenting student progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
  • Providing support and guidance to teachers and staff on strategies for promoting communication skills in the classroom.
  • Staying informed about current research and best practices in the field of orientation mobility.
Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in School Social Work from an accredited program.
  • State License to practice Social Work
  • SSW-310 Authorization for School Social Work
  • OR MDE School Social Worker Credential
  • NASW Member: National Association of Social Workers
  • Experience working with school-aged children preferred.
  • Experience working directly with students with behavioral challenges.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and other professionals. Incentives:
