Job Details:

• Full Time Hours Needed (7 hours per day)
• 2025 – 2026 School Year
• District near Chicago, IL

Assignment Details:

• MSW preferred and MDE School Social Worker Cert.
• Bachelor’s Degree is accepted as well!
• Setting 4 school districts (high behaviors and most severe disabilities)

• This is a program that serves special education students in grades K-12 that need a highly structured program.
• Students move through their day in a cohort model that is based on cognitive ability.
• This is due to the program being very individualized based on the needs of the students.
• Some students may have life skills as more focuses where academics are embedded and functional. Other students may continue to work on grade-level academics.
• All students in this program are working on social-emotional skills that are impacting their ability to access their education, find and keep a job, make and keep friends, regulate their emotions, etc.
• Applicants are Assigned to 1 or multiple school districts
• Primary Duties: Providing Mental Health Support to Social Emotional Learning and Behavior Needs Populations, Case Management, IEPs, and Collaborating with Special Education Director.
