School-Based Social Worker | Davison, Michigan

Make a lasting difference in K-12 student success by supporting Multi-Tier Systems of Support (MTSS) as a Social Worker or Counselor for the 2026-2027 school year. This contract position is conveniently located near Davison, MI and offers the chance to collaborate within a dynamic Gen Ed setting. The assignment runs from August 17, 2026, to June 11, 2027, with a 35-hour work week.

Key Qualifications:

• Masters Degree in Social Work (MSW) or Counseling from an accredited institution
• Current, full Michigan licensure (LMSW or LPC); Limited Licenses (LLMSW/LLPC) considered with expectation of obtaining full licensure
• Experience in public school settings or related agencies preferred
• Comfortable working directly onsite with K-12 students
• Familiarity with Collaborative Teams and MTSS principles
• Strong ability to manage data, develop interventions, and engage with families
• Official university transcripts, Michigan LARA license, and MDE SW approval required for submission

Role Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with staff to determine and recommend effective data collection and intervention strategies
• Design and implement tiered supports, consulting closely with educators and families
• Manage student caseloads, conduct data tracking, and generate reports for MTSS Supervisor
• Participate in support team meetings, parent conferences, and serve as a resource for research-based interventions
• Deliver individual and group support services to students, maintain precise documentation, and facilitate family engagement
• Coordinate a range of services tailored to student and family needs while adhering to district procedures
