Key Qualifications:

• Masters degree is required (bachelors degrees cannot be considered)
• Current Michigan LARA licensesee state guidelines for accepted credentials
• Acceptable backgrounds include:
  • Licensed or limited licensed masters level psychologist (supervised as required)
  • MDE credentialed masters level school psychologist
  • Licensed masters level (school) social worker
  • Licensed or limited licensed marriage and family therapist (supervised as required)
  • Licensed or limited licensed professional counselor (supervised as required)
  • Michigan School Counselor License, Teaching Certificate with School Counselor endorsement, or equivalent credential (with pathway to full counselor licensing within 24 months if applicable)
• Comfortable counseling general education students
• Proficiency using Google Suite and electronic documentation platforms, with experience in SOAP notes

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver individual and group counseling for general education high school students
• Provide consultation and support to classrooms and school buildings as needed
• Contribute to professional development and implement positive behavioral programs alongside staff
• Maintain accurate and timely electronic documentation using SOAP notes
• Collaborate effectively with educators and support personnel
