Local school districts have an opening for a contracted School Social Worker in the Detroit area. This position is for the current School Year. We offer Weekly Pay, Guaranteed hours, and an exceptional Health Benefits & 401k package.
Job specifics:
- School Social Worker for a Public School District
- Location: Ecorse, MI (20 minutes from Detroit, MI)
- Summer extension possible, next school renewal likely!
- Start: 20+ hours weekly, ASAP - June 17. 2025
- Caseload: K-12 students
- Requirements: Must have LARA/310 certification to be considered, MI SSW license
- Onsite or Remote: Onsite preferred but open to virtual
- Education: Master’s degree from an accredited graduate school of social work.
- Licensure:
- SSW-310 Authorization for School Social Work OR
- MDE School Social Worker Credential
- Master’s degree in school social work
- MSW or LCSW active social workers state teaching license
- 2 years supervised, post MSW social work in a school
- Weekly pay!
