Position: School Social Worker
Location: Detroit, Michigan
Details about the position:
 

• Dates:
• August 25, 2025 - June 12, 2026
• Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours/wk

• Caseload:
• Social Emotional Disorders
• Group and 1:1 therapy service

• Duties:
• Provides a continuum of direct and indirect services to students
• Serving special education students providing group and individual therapy
• Contributes to students’ IEPs including writing present levels, goals, and progress reports

• Onsite only
• Hourly pay determined by years of experience
• Further details provided upon interview with school district

• Master’s degree in Social Work
• Michigan licensure required (as a social worker, clinical social worker, or professional counselor)
• Active Dept of Education certification
