Social Worker – Full-Time | Flint, MI | 2025–2026 School Year

A fantastic school district located in Flint, MI is seeking a full-time Social Worker to join the team. In this role, you will provide essential support and services to students, helping to foster academic achievement, personal growth, and emotional well-being. You will collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure each student receives the appropriate care and support.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct social-emotional support and services to students based on individual needs and IEP goals

• Collaborate with teachers, families, and school staff to support student development

• Assist in implementing behavioral or educational plans as needed

• Track student progress and maintain accurate documentation

• Participate in meetings and provide insight into student performance and needs

• Maintain a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) and Licensed Social Worker (LSW) or Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) in Michigan

• Experience working in school settings or with children and adolescents

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team

• Knowledge of behavioral and clinical methodologies relevant to school-based social work, including counseling and crisis intervention
